My Odd Nursing Skills...

I love my job. I honestly do. I don't mind getting up and going to work. Ok there are some (most) mornings that when that alarm goes off at 5 a.m. I hit snooze and wish I could sleep in just a little longer. But usually when I get there I enjoy what I do. There are days that are very fullfilling and rewarding and then there are days when I honestly end a 12-13 hour shift and can't remember if I went to the bathroom all day or not. BUT then there are those days that are just weird! The days when I walk out of a patients room and say to myself I can't believe I just did that. Today was one of those days. I will spare the details of the tasks that I had to help one of my patients perform but lets just say it was a first for me. Wow! What can I say, I learn new odd skills everyday!!
