3 Months Old!

Lexi was 3 months old on Sunday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. She is the joy of our lives! We fall more in love with her each day! Here are a few tid bits about our baby girl:
~She LOVES to be sitting up. She refuses to lay down and if you try she does a little sit up until you sit her back up.
~Loves the bumbo.
~Sucks on everything! Favorites are her binky, her little cloth lion, her cozy blanket and all her shirts and her knuckle.
~Loves her cozy! We are in trouble if we forget it.
~LOVES, LOVES bath time. She splashes like crazy!
~She giggles all the time. One day she'll laugh so hard at one thing and the next day you can do the same thing and she looks at you like you are such a dork.
~Hates her car seat.
~Likes to sing songs and look at books.
~Has the biggest smile!
I could go on and on about her! Everything she does Tip and I think is the cutest! She is my little buddy and it was hard to leave her to go to work, but she sure enjoys the time she gets to spend with Daddy.

Sunday...

Got to love Sundays....

LOVE this girl more!!!

Rodeo

We went to the Dixie Round-up Rodeo on Saturday night. It was a blast and Lexi did awesome!!

They did a awesome tribute to the soilders, fireman, and police officers.
Can't you tell she just LOVED it!

All tuckered out...

Lexi and Mom

she has discovered our ceiling fans :)

I hardly have any pictures of Lexi and I together, mainly because I am always the one with the camera and I'm not a fan of having my picture taking. I read on my friends blog how important it is to remember to be in pictures with your kids, so I decided to snap a few of us together. I sure love this girl!

back to work...

My 12 weeks of maternity leave is coming to an end (sniff, sniff). I have such mixed feelings about going back to work, most of which are negative. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. I go back to work bright and early Monday morning and I am already stressing about it. I've been having nightmares about it for weeks! How am I going to be away from my baby girl for 12 hours + at a time? What if she needs me? Will she be OK without me? I know that she probably wont even notice my absence but I will sure notice hers! For the last year she has been with me every second of the day, I know 9 months of that time was inside but I still count that! On the other hand I am so grateful that I have a job in which I only work 2 days a week and still make decent money. I am SOOO grateful for a husband who has worked so hard and continues to work hard so that I can go back to work part-time. And I am so grateful for insurance (the main reason I am going back to work). I am also grateful to Tip that he has figured out his work schedule so that he is able to stay home with Lexi on the days that I work. I know that she will be OK without me, I more worry about me being OK without her! I miss her already!! I mean look at that face above, you'd miss her too! Speaking of the picture, Lexi has discovered her hand. She doesn't suck on her thumb, but tucks her thumb in between her first and middle finger and sucks on her knuckle. Its adorable, although I prefer the binky, which she still loves!!
Well say a prayer for me Monday morning that I'll survive my first day back (sniff, sniff)!

Say Cheese!!

It took being sneaky and a couple rounds of wheels on the bus, actions and all
but totally worth it....isn't that the cutest smile ever!!
I love her!

(ps don't mind the pic is slightly blurred...
I was really into the actions plus it was taken with my phone!)

Labor Day and Life..

SUPER BABY!!!

Every time you hold Lexi up her legs and arms go straight out.

She has the perfect superman pose.

Playing with Dad...Aren't these two just too cute!!

We decided that lexi looks like a little pixie fairy. She could be the newest member of pixie hollow with her cute little pointed ears! I love it!

We wanted to do something for Labor Day so we headed up to Snow Canyon to drive and walk around. We discovered that Lexi would rather sit and face forward in the stroller then in the car seat. She loves to look around and thinks she is much bigger then she really is! We love this girl. Although she continues to be camera shy and will NOT smile on camera. I have even tried to sneak one and the minute she gets a glimpse of the camera she just stares blankly at the camera.

This is my attempt to sneak a picture of Lexi's smile in the morning.

She is learning to "like" but still not "love" tummy time.
