Home Sweet Home...(in the process)

Being engaged is a blast..... Buying a house not so much. Tipper and I are in the process of trying to buy a home. When we first started looking at houses it was so much fun!! I loved walking through each home imagining where I would hang what picture or where I would put my couches. But then after walking through house after house. Seeing some disgusting homes, some dream homes, and some messes with great potential I realized that whoever said buying a house was so much fun, either lied or wasn't buying a home on a budget!! It has been STRESSFUL to say the least. I know that once we are in a house and get to make it a home that all the stress, tears, and fears will be worth it!! I can't wait to make a home with Tip, he is amazing and has been so patient with me. He wants me to have my dream home and works hard to try to find it. I hope that we will soon be able to post that we have finally made the purchase and signed the papers. Until then keep your fingers crossed!!

Tipper's little buddy...

Ever since I've dated Tip, McCord absolutely adores him. I think its because Tipper works at the motorcyle store. But either way I have been replaced as the favorite. A couple weeks ago I was talking to Jami on the phone and she has asked if Cordy wanted to talk to me. He got on the phone and said where's Tipper, I told him he was at work and he handed the phone back to Jami and said that Tipper is at work. He didn't even want to talk to me!! When they come down he loves to hang out with Tipper. He always runs to him and not me anymore. Oh well!! I still love the little guy!! This picture was taking a couple weeks ago when they were down. Tip came over on his lunch break and McCord crawled on his lap and fell asleep. Tipper is so cute with the kids, I love it!! He is an amazing man! Hopefully McCord will discover I am way cooler then Tipper!!

The Countdown Begins....July 18th!!

We set our wedding date for July 18th at 10 a.m in the Mount Timpanogos Temple!! That's less then 3 months away!! So, the wedding planning has begun...gulp! We are both super excited!!! A Diamond Ring for my birthday...I totally said YES!!

WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! Tipper proposed to me last night and I totally said yes (actually I think I just nodded, but same thing)!!! Here is the story (beware its going to be a long post!!)....

Today is my birthday, so since it fell on a Sunday we decided we would go out the night before to dinner to celebrate. He text me earlier in the day and said we were going to Made in Brazil for dinner (similar to Tucanos, for those who don't live in St. George). He picked me up (late) and we headed that way. I was excited to go there because I was starving and they have really good food!! When we got to the restaurant we walked in and the Hostess said you ready? Would outside be OK? Tipper said yes and I kinda didn't want to because I always freeze when I eat. There was a table set for two! There was also a band playing outside. We sat down then went and got our food from the salad bar and went back to the table. Well of course I was freezing so Tipper asked me if I wanted him to go get his sweat shirt out of the truck. I thought that was a great idea, so he headed to the truck and I started working on my food. My back was towards the band. All of the sudden I heard my name over the microphone. I turned around and he is up on the stage with his guitar. He sang me "She's Every Woman" by Garth Brooks. (A song we've danced to before!). As he was singing the meat people were coming around asking me if I wanted meat, I just kept saying sure. Then an old man came and stood in front of me and asked if that was my boyfriend. It was funny!! After the song was over I walked over to him and he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I was crying so I nodded!! Then we hugged and kissed and he gave me the ring (which I was so excited I took it and put it on myself!!) Then we both cried, hugged, kissed! I kept looking at my ring, cause I was shocked. We had looked at rings and I had loved this one, but thought it was too much so I thought we decided on a different one!! ITS GORGEOUS!!! It was perfect!! I didn't eat much dinner after that cause I was in shocked and kept looking at my hand (I still keep looking at it!). The best part is we have it all on video, thanks to his brother Jeff who filmed it. I didn't even notice Jeff there till after.

I am so excited and so HAPPY!! I can't explain how much I love Tipper. He is so incredible. He makes me a better person! He is hilarious (although, I try not to tell him that too much cause I don't want him to get a big head ;)!) He always keeps me laughing. I can't imagine my life without him. He is my everything!! I can't wait to spend eternity with him!!! I love you Tip!!

Every Easter my family goes camping/fourwheeling down in the DaBinki. Its awesome!! This year was even more fun because Jake and Wendy and their kids made the long trip from Idaho to come. Kelly, Ashlee, and Kolton also joined us!! We had a blast even though the weather was not so pretty on Saturday. We even got stuck driving back on the machines in a hale storm. Driving a fourwheeler in hale feels like you are being shot at with a BB gun all over! By the time we made it back to camp we were all soaking wet!!! But even with the bad weather the trip was so fun and relaxing. We played several games of screwy lewy, ate, played washers, ate, and sat around the camp fire and did I mention we ate?? Thanks Mom and Dad for a great trip!! Love Ya!!

Tremonton!!

I had the privilege to visit Tipper's home town of Tremonton!! I had a blast!! I absolutely love Tip's family!! They made me feel right at home!! Plus I got to have the grand tour of Tremonton (which only took about five minutes) but it was a great tour!! Tip took me to all his favorite place's. I finally got to experience a turkey Burger from Mack's, and let me tell you it was all he talked it up to be, YUM!! I really do love this kid!! He makes me so happy!! Thanks Tip for taking me home!! Your amazing and I kinda love you!! ;)

Family Vist....

My family came down last weekend. It is always a blast to have them down here. We enjoyed some hiking, Vegas (Thanks Jami and Court for letting Tipper and I tag along!!), games, and some four-wheeling!! The weather was great!! I love when my family come down. Tipper fits right in with my family which I love!! Plus McCord totally says Tipper is his new best friend! I even had to give up my seat on the couch so he could sit by him. Another funny story...when Jadi got back home she told her preschool class that "her friend in St. George FINALLY got herself a boyfriend!" Pretty sad when a 4 year old is worried you'll never find a boy!! At least she called me her friend right?! Well thanks everyone for coming down!! Come Back SOON!!!

My Favorite Things....

Wendy tagged me forever ago asking me to post some of my favorite things so here is my list.....

1. IPod Touch!!

I love this thing! It is amazing. The WiFi internet is awesome, allows me to check my blog or facebook whenever. The games on it are so fun and easy to get. It is very user friendly and the built in speakers are awesome!!

2. Diet Coke with Lime
What Can I say!! Its my favorite!! I can't go a day without one!! Out of the can is my fav!!!

3. DVR!

I love having DVR. I love recording my shows I like to watch and watch them on my own time without commercials. I told Tipper I will probably go without AC before I give up my DVR ;)

4. Movies
I love watching movies. Going to the theater is my idea of a good date!! There is nothing like watching movies on the big screen!!

Ok I am going to have to think of some more!! I have lots of favorite but here is a start!!

Las Vegas....

Tipper and I rarely have the same day off, so when we both found out we had Tuesday off we decided to go to Las Vegas. We had a blast!! The weather was a perfect 75 degrees!! We walked up the strip and enjoyed the sun! At one point we were both hungry (more me then him) but we were planning on going to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner so we wanted to get something small to hold us over. We stopped and tasted some Gelato, and decided that what we would get some to hold us over. We picked two flavors to share and when went to pay we discovered that our small thing to hold us over cost $18 for our small cup!! We laughed and enjoyed the most expensive ice cream we've every eaten!! It was overall a great day!! We have alot of fun with each other!!! He really makes me laugh!!
