Thriller... October 24, 2008

My Roomies and I went to Thriller!! It was awesome as usual. It was fun cause Matt from So You Think You Can Dance (our favorite show ever) was one of the main dancers! We had awesome seats and of course Tuachan is awesome atomosphere!!

Saturday night my roommates and I plus our friend Tricia went and saw the play Les Miserables at Tuacahn. I had never seen it before and loved it!! The music was awesome and the atmosphere at Tuacahn is always beautiful!! We had alot of fun!!

I’m a weirdo. I know it. Here’s why.

1. I am a person of routines. I have a bed time routine, a shower routine, a makeup routine, a hair routine. If I go out of order I can't remember if I did something or not...Sometime I wash my hair twice!

2. I snort when I laugh. I can't help it. No I don't do it on purpose, It doesn't usually hurt and I don't snore. You get used to it and don't notice it after awhile.

3. I have chronic hiccups. Get them everyday. When I'm stressed they get bad.

4. I love mustard and tabassco sauce!

5. I have a weird memory. I can remember the oddest facts about people. I meet them once, and never forget weird facts.

6.I could go to the movie every day. I've been known to hit 2-3 movies in the theater in one day!!

7. I LOVE hot dogs!! I don't care what they are made of I love them!!

My Best Friends....

I just can't tell you how lucky I am to belong to the family that I do. I have the greatest family ever!! I am proud to be a Parduhn!! My siblings and parents are my bestest friends ever!! How many people can say that there is not a day that goes by that I don't talk to at least one of my siblings. And there is not a day goes by that I don't talk to my Mom, she is the greatest. It makes me feel part of the family even when I live 4 hours away!! And my Dad, is amazing!! There has been so many times when he has said to me I'll be there in 4 hours!! He would drop everything to drive down just help me out. I love them so much!! This 2008 year hasn't been my favorite. I have had a lot of trials that I have gone through and if it wasn't for such a great family I wouldn't have made it. So I just wanted to say thanks to them for supporting me in all I do. For the MANY hours of tearful phone calls. For keeping me in their prayers and for continuing to be on my side!! I love you all and will forever be eternally in your debts for all you have done!! Thanks~Mom, Dad, Jami, Court, Jake, Wendy, Linzy, Karson, Zach, and of course Matt, Jadi, Ella, McCord, and Sophie!!

Bad day at the Dentist....

I hate the dentist. I always have. When I was a little girl they used to put me to sleep just so the dentist could do his job. SO basically I avoid going at all cost....which I learned today is a very very bad idea. Since I've been paying for dental insurance for almost a year I decided that it was time to actually use it. SO my day started out great and now as I type my mouth is hurting. Lets just say my little check up and cleaning turned into 4 cavaities. 3 will need crowns, 1 root canal and just one regular filling. I can practically hear my checking account getting smaller :( So after a nervous break down (Sorry Mom). I went
back to the dentist to get started on tooth #1. Two hours in the chair with a litte nitrous oxide and I was flying high. Pretty sure I might of even snorted in the chair, but I was embarrassed so I decided not to ask if that was true. Now the numbness is wearing off and I can really feel it! Ouch!! Oh well what can you do!! Now i will being making regular 6 month check ups from now on!!!

My Odd Nursing Skills...

I love my job. I honestly do. I don't mind getting up and going to work. Ok there are some (most) mornings that when that alarm goes off at 5 a.m. I hit snooze and wish I could sleep in just a little longer. But usually when I get there I enjoy what I do. There are days that are very fullfilling and rewarding and then there are days when I honestly end a 12-13 hour shift and can't remember if I went to the bathroom all day or not. BUT then there are those days that are just weird! The days when I walk out of a patients room and say to myself I can't believe I just did that. Today was one of those days. I will spare the details of the tasks that I had to help one of my patients perform but lets just say it was a first for me. Wow! What can I say, I learn new odd skills everyday!!

My new blog....

I am not really sure why I decided tonight I'll make a blog but what the heck!! I am still trying to figure out what exactly I am going to put on this and exactly how to do it. (I am sure Jami will teach me!!)
