Christmas with the Parduhns

We were so lucky this year with my work schedule we were able to spend quite a bit of time up north with both our families for the holidays. We went up to Alpine a few days before Christmas and had a blast! We spent most of the time playing in the snow. This was Lexi's first time really seeing snow. When she got out of the car she said, "what is this stuff?" Then she touched it and figured out it was cold and became unsure. But she quickly grew to love it! She would have stayed outside all day if we let her. She enjoyed sledding, rolling in it, building a snow man, and most of all eating it! Rav didn't mind it either, as long as he was bundled up! We also were able to go see the reindeer. Christmas is so so much fun with a very excited  2 1/2 year old who can't wait for Santa to come!

We went to the both the Parduhn and Woodruff Christmas parties and had a blast! We were able to open our presents from my parents and they spoiled us again! We then headed up to Tremonton in a snow storm to spend Christmas day up there!

Dot the Elf

Santa brought the kids an early present right after Thanksgiving our Elf on the Shelf. Lexi loved it! When we told her she got to name our new Elf she threw out the names Jesus, elephant, but we finally settled on Dot. Dot the Elf was great. Lex loved waking up every morning to find out where crazy Dot was. We can't wait for Dot to come back next year!

Total Food Lover!

When Rav started to eat more then just baby food he LOVED it! Every time we give him anything new he would make the best cheese face! He love love loves food! These pictures were taken back in November. He is the greatest little eater! He will eat anything we put in front of him! 

Lexi's Dance Class

Lexi has been taking a dance class since August. It is the most darling class. Its called Too Much Fun and then put on dress ups and dance around. Its amazing how much she has improved over the the months. At first she just ran around like a crazy girl but now she is starting to follow and actually do the dances. In December we were allowed to go in and watch one of her classes. It was darling and hilarious! She LOVES dance class and ask every day if she can go! I hope she always loves to dance!

Lexi's tag

We got a new computer, so I am finally able to download my camera. I am very behind on blogging and the post I have done have been from my phone. BUT I am going to try and catch up!

Lexi's tag deserves its own post. Lexi has a favorite blanket. She has used the same blanket since she was a baby. She loves this blanket but more then the blanket she loves the tag. Since she was about 5-6 months old she has rubbed, sucked, and dragged her blanket around by the tag. The tag is how she falls asleep. She would run her hand along the edge until she came to the tag and she would rub it on her eye and fall asleep. Well 2 and half years later this poor tag has taken a beating. There isn't much left to this tag but she still has to have the tag to go to sleep. She often asks for help when she can't find her tag. Well in December we had quite the tragedy. Her tag fell off. She immediately went into a panic mode and kept saying Mom can't you fix it mom please please!! So I had to sew it back on. It is seriously disgusting. But she love love loves her tag! I don't know what we are going to do when there isn't tag left to sew back on! 

Rav 10 months January 16, 2013

Raver boy turned 10 months back in January. He is turing into such a sweet, sensitive little guy. I just can't imagine my life with out him! He is such a mama's boy to an extreme. He is never far from my side!

Here are Rav facts at 10 months:
~He stands by himself. He has never really pulled himself up he just stands up in the middle of the room. He is great balance. He starting to take a couple steps
~He eats EVERYTHING! The only food that he doesn't completely love is macaroni and cheese.
~He loves Lexi. He falls her around everywhere and knocks her guys over trying to play with her. She often says "dude your bugging me"
~Loves his cozy
~Is starting to watch TV a litte 10-15 minutes at a time.
~Loves water
~Still gets up in the night 2 times.
~He crawls super fast and if we aren't quick he can be found up to his elbows in the toilet.
~Loves the tub
~Takes 2 good naps and goes to bed at 730
~He loves riding in the stroller.
~He also got his first two teeth!

He is such a boy. He loves to climb and bang his toys on anything. He is such a mama's boy and I love it. He loves to snuggle and sit on my lap. He thinks his dad is pretty awesome too! I sure love my little man!
