Tip's Hike

At the end of May, Tip went on a 50 miler backpacking trip with his scouts. He had never been backpacking before and he was pretty excited to go. These photos were taking the night before he left. We sure missed our dad while he was gone. Lex asked every day if, "my dad still with the boys?"

Sleepy Little Guy!

There is nothing sweeter then a sleeping baby!

Rav prefers to sleep up on his side. I think he looks so big when he is laying on his side with his hands tucked up by his face. I know I am biased but he sure is one handsome little guy!

My Smiley Guy..

This smile MELTS my heart!

This was his first smile caught on camera (6 weeks old)

He really is so Yummy!

I have a diagnosis...

I have a diagnosis...you have "tosis!"

Lexi's new favorite show is called Doc McStuffins. Its about a girl that is a doctor for toys. Since then Lexi has been obsessed with playing doctor. On the show Doc always diagnosis her toys with words that end in -tosis, or -itits etc. When Lexi gives you a "chep up" (check up) she always says you have "tosis, Oh no, you need medicine." Then she gives you pretend medicine and then its her turn for you to give her a check up. After she has been cured from her "tosis" she sings the "I feel better song" from the show. It is hilarious! Poor Rav is often the patient and seems to have a tosis daily!

My Crazy Girl!

Lexi is growing so fast! She is so funny and keeps me on my toes daily! She can be the sweetest, easiest kid every or she can be so stubborn and dramatic! She says the funniest things and I am often shocked at the things that she comes up with. She has the best imagination and can play with her toys for hours! I don't know what I would do if I could hear her sweet high voice every day! I sure love my crazy girl!

best BIG sister EVER!

Rav wasn't the biggest fan of his carseat at first. He cried every time I put him in it. One day we were going shopping and I strapped him in and then ran to the bathroom. I could hear him crying and I could hear Lexi talking to him saying "its okay buddy, don't cry." When I came out this is how I found him. She had given him all her toys plus her sippy cup, and she sat and was rocking his seat. She is the best big sister ever. She is always concerned about him. If I put her in the car first she always screams "where did my buddy go?" She often says, "Mom I got buddy." I honestly think he is a big guy for his own safety, because he is too heavy for her to pick up but not for her lack of trying. She is quick to give him high fives and stones. Rav loves her too. He always watches her and never takes his eyes off her. He always gives her the biggest grins! I am so glad these two are close in age. I know that they will be great friends. I am sure there will be many fights too!

Rav 2 months! May 16, 2012

 Ravsten 2 Months!

Weight: 13 lbs (80%)
Height: 24.25 inches (90%)
Head: 15.4 inches (26%)

What a difference a month makes! This little guy has turned into one HAPPY dude! We started Rav on some reflux medicine at 5 weeks. At six weeks we increased it to 3x a day and that was the answer to so many prayers!

Here are some Rav Facts:

He started smiling at 6 weeks!
He is quick to give you a smile. It doesn't take much to get a big grin.
Still eats every 3 hours
Finally likes his carseat
Loves his bath
He finally is happy awake more then crying awake.
Still naps in his swing
Loves his cozy and binkie

Here are a few more cute pictures I couldn't resist posting. As I was taking his picture Lexi wanted hers taken too! It was a lazy day at our house so we hadn't done our hair that day.

 Sure love these two!
